INDIANA JONES 5 concept art reveals scrapped plan to have Indiana zombies and short battles

Some new initial concept art has emerged Indiana Jones5 and reveals a discarded story idea that would have been great! Early in the film’s development, Lucasfilm had actually considered bringing it back By Ke Huy Quan Short turn to team up with Indiana Jones! This was a missed opportunity and it’s a shame they didn’t follow through!

The concept art features Short Round of Ke Huy Quan and Indy fighting against a horde of zombies from an ancient civilization. Indiana Jones5 they went through several iterations before deciding on the story the filmmakers would follow. While I enjoyed the movie, I think bringing Short Round back to life would have been a better and more exciting story to play with.

This image here makes me happy and I think bringing back this character would really get fans excited to see the movie! Indiana Jones and the Quadrant of Destiny was met with mixed reactions and was a major box office flop grossing only $384 million worldwide.

Seeing Jones reunite with his old buddy, Short Round, for a new adventure would have been amazing and I’m surprised they didn’t go that route! It would have gotten fans more excited about the movie! I’m really sorry that this was something the creative team at Lucasfilm passed on.
