Will Smith’s wife, American actress and singer Jada Pinkett Smith, admitted that the scandalous incident at the Oscars helped save their marriage. The issue in question is Will’s slap against comedian Chris Rock, as revealed by The Independent.

“I call it a holy grail because so many positive things happened afterward,” Jada admitted.
According to her, it was this action that helped convince her of the sincerity of her husband’s feelings. Before this happened, she had been thinking about divorce for many years, but did not have the courage to go through with it. Now Jada is sure she will never leave Will.

Will Smith’s wife commented on the incident: “Who knows what our relationship would be like if this hadn’t happened.”
Recall that Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith got married in 1997 while she was pregnant with their first child. Meanwhile, at the recent Oscars ceremony, Will took to the stage and punched comedian and host Rock in the face for making an inappropriate joke about his wife.
