Is there a more autumnal recipe than pear and almond powder tart? I don’t think so, no.

New week, new recipe, and this time I propose the delicious recipe for pear tart, with almond powder. Delicious, served hot or cold, with or without a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it’s sure to please the whole family.

The recipe for the autumn pear and almond tart

To make this recipe you will need:

  • 5 pears
  • 1 shortcrust pastry (homemade or industrial, everyone’s choice)
  • 120 g of almond powder
  • 20 cl of liquid cream
  • 60 g of icing sugar
  • 2 eggs

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Wash, peel and cut your pears into slices. In a salad bowl, mix the eggs and sugar, then add the cream and chopped almonds. Unroll the dough on a tart pan, arrange the pear quarters in a circle, add the mixture on top and you’re done, in the oven for 30-40 minutes.
