This is the astonishing moment a man repeatedly crashes his car into an ATM because he would make “no money” out of it.
You could clearly see the driver smiling as he rammed his vehicle into an ATM, backed up a few meters and then accelerated again and again.
The surreal scene took place around noon on Sunday at a La Caixa branch in Malaga on the Costa del Sol.
Eyewitnesses said in a drama that lasted about 10 minutes, the driver signaled for people to get out of the way before crashing into the ATM.
Initial reports, based on the driver’s own statements to bystanders, suggested he acted out of anger at not being able to withdraw money.

Police have now confirmed that they have arrested the driver who crashed into an ATM in the Ciudad Jardin district of Málaga on suspicion of criminal damage and theft.
The driver, who has not been named, reportedly claimed he acted out of desperation because he did not have enough money to feed his children. However, the police have not yet commented on this.
He passed a breath test and a drug test.
A spokesman for Malaga’s local police confirmed Sunday’s arrest, which came after the man’s vehicle got stuck between two pillars as he drove to the ATM for the fifth or sixth time, saying: “Local police officers determined that a man was arrested at the time for ‘criminal damage to property and theft in the Ram Raid process’.
