In the Soviet years, the choice of cosmetics on the shelves was very small, and there were not so many specialized stores. The legendary mascara “Leningradskaya” and the foundation “Ballet” have already been produced, but not on a scale to meet the needs of all women. Some went to different tricks to look good (we wrote about that here). Despite the fact that the viewer always saw a beautiful picture, even Soviet actresses had a hard time before shooting.

The main trends of the 70-80s were blue mother-of-pearl shadows, black arrows and bright lipsticks. In this role, many heroes of the films of those years appeared, but each had its own “highlights”. For example, it is impossible not to remember Zinochka’s very lush eyelashes from the movie “Ivan Vasilyevich Changes His Profession”, and Tanya Zaitseva from “Intergirl” has purple shadows and bright pink lipstick. We decided to imagine and imagine what modern means the Soviet cult heroes could use.

Fatal Anna Sergeevna, performed by Svetlana Svetlichnaya, was remembered by the audience not only for her non-Soviet behavior, but also for her clothes (worth a green swimsuit in the style of the first James Bond girl) and make-up. Wide graphic arrows, rich blue shades, bright lips and light (rare at that time) hair are the main features of the heroine’s image. In the modern cosmetic bag of Anna Sergeevna, it would not be possible without a triumphant waterproof eyeliner and bright mother-of-pearl shades of emerald hue.

Makeup artists in the movie “Intergirl” deliberately made it bright and defiant, due to the profession of the main characters.
