The 80-year-old actor had a huge argument with his former employee Graham Chase Robins. She accuses him of sexism, and he accuses her of inappropriate spending. The matter was taken to court.
Robinson worked for De Niro’s company from 2008 to 2019. According to the Daily Mail, the woman was earning $300,000 a year. She decided to call it quits in April 2019, the actor didn’t like it and filed a lawsuit accusing her of improper expenses. Robert is sure the assistant spent the money on herself and watched Netflix instead of working.
Annoyed, Robinson countersued, accusing the actor of inappropriate behavior. The assistant claims that the actor treated her like an “office wife” and forced her to do “dirty work.” By dirty work, we mean washing his sheets and asking him to scratch his back.
The former subordinate is seeking $12 million in damages after suffering emotional distress.
Let us also remind you that Robert De Niro recently became a father for the seventh (!) time. The mother of the child was 25-year-old Tiffany Chen, who gave birth to a daughter of the Hollywood actor named Gia Virginia Chen De Niro.
