According to the Daily Mail source, the reason for the separation was that the athlete could not find time for love (how could this be?). “If Tom had more time for love, he would be completely absorbed in it and would probably still be dating Irina. He thinks she’s really cool,” says the anonymous writer.

He added: “He knew he couldn’t give Irina his full attention and time, and she was such a good person that he didn’t want her to feel inferior to him. “Maybe they will find each other in the future, but it is easier for them to be friends now.”
