The series follows a 16-year-old girl who moves from the country to Calabasas, where the glamorous life of high school students hides many insidious secrets. The plot of the project is based on Via Bladner’s book If You Lived Here You’d Be Famous Now.
Originally, the show was supposed to be directed by Ai Marlene King, the writer of the cult series Pretty Little Liars. However, after his departure, the project passed entirely to Van Dusen.
Note that Kim Kardashian, who grew up in Calabasas, took an active part in the production of the series. Not only does he serve as a producer through his company, but he is also responsible for the atmosphere of the show.
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian previously talked about the terrible diagnosis made after a brain scan. Read more in our material.
