Quentin Tarantino visits Israeli army base to boost morale, pictured posing with troops

According to the country’s official social media accounts, Quentin Tarantino was photographed posing with Israeli troops during what appeared to be a recent visit to a military base in southern Israel.

Israel War Room, an official account verified by Elon Musk to give him a boost. The images of soldiers next to the filmmaker faded.

After Israel War Room’s initial post, Stand With Us, an Israeli educational nonprofit founded in 2001, posted a photo on Instagram showing glorious bastards Filmmaker walks the streets of Israel and poses for a photo with a young Israeli fan. The Instagram post was shared along with a lengthy caption.

“A bright moment in a dark time: Legendary filmmaker Quentin Tarantino showed his solidarity with the people of Israel by making a surprise visit to southern Israel, which has been completely devastated by Hamas’ ongoing terror war,” the report said. “There he toured military bases and mingled with soldiers and residents, sparking a craze for selfies and videos on social media. What a great way to show support.”

A video from an unverified TikTok account appeared to show Tarantino meeting the same young Israeli fan.

Tarantino has spoken publicly in the past about the fact that he now lives between Israel and Los Angeles following his marriage to Israeli singer Daniella Pick. The filmmaker’s visit to the military base comes as the conflict between Israeli forces and Hamas continues to ravage the region.

US President Joe Biden visited Israel on Wednesday morning as tensions continued to rise following a deadly attack on Gaza’s Al-Ahli Hospital that killed hundreds of Palestinians.

Quentin Tarantino’s representatives did not immediately respond to Deadline’s request for comment on the matter.
