Painful news comes to us from Bruce Willis, thanks to his wife Emma Heming. At 68, the actor, an iconic face of Hollywood, suffers from aphasia, a neurodegenerative disease linked to Alzheimer’s.

Very committed to educational work on this irreversible health problem, Emma Heming was a guest on the show Today ON NBC this Monday 25 September, thus inaugurating the World Frontotemporal Dementia Awareness Week. She took the opportunity to take stock of her husband’s health.

“A family disease”

Last March, Bruce Willis’ family announced on social networks that the actor would end his career due to his illness. A year later, his wife confided: “What I’m finding is that dementia is difficult.”explaining that the disease “It’s feeling for the person diagnosed, as much as for the family. »
