Hello to all fashionistas! Your fashion editor is in touch. There are so many trends and brands in my world that I decided to keep an online diary where I would jot down the most important things in the industry. And although such diaries are often called personal, mine is open to all readers – so that you are aware of the most interesting.

The second week of August was really busy. In five working days we admired the new Vogue cover featuring the most important top models of the ’90s, inspired shots of Gigi Hadid and Zendeli, praised and scrutinized the images of Copenhagen Fashion Week’s street style heroes. in the latest Victoria’s Secret campaign.

There have been some really interesting events this week, so I suggest you join me on a little digital journey through the latest news in the fashion world and learn a little more about our domestic brands, advertising campaigns and collections. Shall we begin?

Kim Kardashian rightfully holds the title of one of the most talked about stars on the planet. She shoots for authoritative glossy magazines, does not miss a single important event in the fashion world, and all brands dream of collaborating with her. So, this week it was learned that Kim is the new face of Marc Jacobs. The brand even removed all posts on the banned social network for the sake of such collaboration. True, it is worth noting that not everyone appreciated the daring campaign. In the comments under Kim’s photo, “Again, not him … I blocked the whole family, but still I see them against my will.”

The victory in the “Most Atmospheric Summer Drop” category definitely belongs to the Culteveste brand and its limited collection La lune de l’été (translated as “Summer Moon”). Meanwhile, she draws inspiration from ’60s and ’70s aesthetics and summer travels between Paris and New York. The collection includes excellent tweed suits, shorts, tops and midi cocktail dresses with ruffles and asymmetrical closures. Second, it’s already on our editorial team’s wish list.

However, Only Me and Artdog For You brands have started a charity project to support the Dogs for Life Foundation. The organization is engaged in canis therapy – that is, the rehabilitation of people with the help of specially trained dogs. The foundation’s volunteers help people with disabilities and also work with children with special needs. How did such an idea come about? It turns out that the Only Me brand has developed its own community called Club of the Tremulous at Heart. It was there that the idea to create a joint T-shirt collaboration with his illustrations of the friendship between four-legged animals and humans was born.

The capsule contains three picture t-shirts, each with an important message. The brand will donate 10% of the sales of each t-shirt to the Dogs for Life charity.

The choice and purchase of sunglasses should be approached with special responsibility. After all, it is this accessory that will not only advantageously complement any look, but also help prevent premature wrinkles around the eyes (thanks to our beauty department for this information). Where to look for trendy options? My answer: In the Cultura brand’s collection codenamed Walk Collection. Recently, the brand’s team introduced three new models in three different colors: from watercolor pink to olive and classic black. All lenses are made of Italian Mazzucchelli acetate and are finished with special lenses with an anti-reflective coating. Thus, they provide 100% UVA and UVB protection. And yes, it really matters. If you do not believe me, we advise you to re-read our material on how to choose glasses.

It looks like the list of iconic dresses that sold for millions of dollars at auctions could increase soon. A few days ago, it was learned that Audrey Hepburn’s pink dress from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” will go up for auction at Julien’s. They plan to sell it for 450 thousand Australian dollars (about 27 million rubles). Meanwhile, the costumes of other famous actresses will be auctioned: Greta Garbo, Ann Baxter, Judy Garland, Elizabeth Taylor and Vivien Leigh.
