Deadline spoke to FILM.UA associate professor Vishnevska last month, during which he presented the foundation’s plans to help support the Ukrainian television industry.

This fund is now officially called the Content Club of Ukraine and is open for investment, backed by the UK Manufacturers Trade Pact.

The Content Club, which operates as a charity and has an independent board, is engaged in writing scripts for stage, animation and investigative shows. Global networks allocate money to pre-purchase or co-produce Ukrainian content early in the production process so that these programs can continue and get the green light.
