“Let’s dissuade hunters with a legal weapon: the rooster. We are about to create the association of asshole hunters’ wives”launched Monsieur Poulpe in his chronicle of the show It’s us again!, 2 November on France Inter. The comedian cracked a four-minute monologue against hunters, titled “Monsieur Octopus regularizes hunting accidents.”
If this column had drawn the wrath of hunter lobbies – Willy Schraenpresident of the National Federation of Hunters, had filed a complaint – Arcom (ex Csa) is on his side, he also intervened on the radio, due to the character considered sexist in the news.
A “trivialization” of sexual violence
The authority denounces it in a press release published this Thursday 22 June“the presence of degrading comments against women, some of which are aimed at one of them in particular, which could be analyzed as trivialize sexual violence done to women without intervention by condemning them”.

Last November, the column had already been denounced by many listeners and Internet users. Two weeks after its broadcast, Adele Van Reethdirector of France Inter, had responded to numerous messages from listeners indignant at Monsieur Poulpe’s text.
“I understand that you are embarrassed to listen to this column and condemn the vulgarity of the vocabulary and the violence of the situation described. I would like to express my regret that this column may have offended you.he had written in the column “The mediator” of Radio France, while recalling that these observations are not covered by the law.
Thus, Arcom called France Inter to order, intervening with Radio France to remind it of the obligations deriving from the law of 30 September 1986.
