Recently, on the Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast, Matthew McConaughey admitted that he might be related to Hollywood actor Woody Harrelson because he was in a relationship with Charlie Harrelson when his mother temporarily cut off ties with his father.
McConaughey and Harrelson met on the set of True Detective. Then they went on vacation with their families to Greece, where Matthew’s mother made a shocking confession. “A few years ago we sat in Greece and talked about how close our families are. And suddenly my mother says, “Woody, I knew your father.” And everyone heard three dots after the word “knew”. We started counting, and it turned out that Harrelson’s father was on vacation when my parents divorced for the second time, ”the actor openly admitted.

But McConaughey is wary of discovering that he was raised by an unrelated father. “It’s easier to say Woody than it does.
