‘This is not a fashion accessory’: Irina Shayk accused of cruelty to animals

The supermodel recently became not only the heroine of a Vogue magazine shoot, but also an unwitting participant in a high-profile scandal. Let’s explain what happened.

In one of the shots, his muse Rikkando Tisci poses with a Doberman on the streets of New York. The model made a bold look with the blazer and mini corset she wore. However, it is not all that simple.

Animal rights activists didn’t like this photo at all. They noticed that the circumcised dog was gone. Such a procedure is actually illegal in the UK.

“To encourage people to acquire painfully mutilated dogs, which is illegal in the UK unless medically necessary. It’s not a fashion accessory, it’s a living being,” a spokesperson for animal welfare company Peta told the Daily Mail.

Now an insider has asked the publication to apologize for this embarrassment and plead guilty to the readers.

Recall that in 2017, Irina Shayk gave birth to a daughter from Bradley Cooper. Two years later, the couple broke up after four years of relationship. And while the reason the lovers broke up is unknown, some suggest that the actor may have developed feelings for Lady Gaga on the set of 2018’s A Star Is Born. Looks like Irina and Bradley are on good terms again. Some insiders even report that they are considering a second child.
