According to the Bureau of Prisons website, the rapper, who is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Facility in Brooklyn, New York, will be released on May 8, 2028, Page Six reports.
Earlier this month, P Diddy, 55, learned he would spend four years and two months behind bars. He was also ordered to pay a $500,000 fine to the court and to attend mental health and addiction treatment programs. “I took into account the fact that you are a self-taught artist and a businessman who inspires and supports communities,” a Manhattan federal court judge told the musician minutes before the verdict was announced.
But the judge also had to take into account Diddy’s “entire history”: “You subjected people to physical, emotional and psychological abuse. Why did it take so long? Because you had the power and resources to keep it going.” The judge concluded: “The court cannot be sure that these crimes will not be committed again if he is released.”
Meanwhile, P. Diddy had previously appealed after the decision in order to be released earlier than the stipulated time.
