Anderson Cooper Hosts New Sunday Primetime Series for CNN, The whole story with Anderson Cooperas the network works to revive its nightly lineup.
The new series, which will be a weekly recurring series, will feature single-issue episodes from the network’s longtime storytelling team. These are special interviews, profiles and surveys.
The debut is scheduled for April 16 at 8:00 PM ET.
Planned episodes include Sara Sidner’s interpretation of San Francisco and the social problems plaguing the city; Pamala Brown’s investigation into claims that Johnson & Johnson’s now-discontinued baby powder causes cancer; by David Culver magic mushroomswho contemplates the drug and money surrounding the psychedelic plant; Erica Hill’s take on the upcoming coronation of King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla; and Nick Paton Walsh join a group of Central American migrants on their way to seek asylum in the United States.

The network tested a new format in the weekday slot at 9pm ET, which follows Cooper’s regular show, with a series of town halls and one-on-one interviews. The CNN prime time However, the show saw a decline in viewership, although a spokesperson for the network told The New York Times that they were experimenting with formats and that there was no marketing campaign to draw attention to the specials.
CNN Worldwide Chairman and CEO Chris Licht also announced plans to revamp the daytime program message center debut next month.
