The announcement came with an early black and white photo of the actor in the role. I love that they are bringing back the characters from the first film in this next chapter of the story! One of the other returning characters is former IMF director Eugene Kittridge, who is played by Henry Czerny.
William Donloe was the general custodian for the list of unofficial cover agents incorporated into various organizations around the world. During the events of the first film, Donloe is assigned a foreign agent who incapacitates him long enough for Ethan Hunt and his crew to narrowly escape with the NOC list. Donloe returned seconds after the list was stolen. Donloe was removed from his duties at Langley and sent directly to a polar substation in Alaska.
The rest of the cast includes Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Simone Pegg, Ving RhamesAND Vanessa Kirby together with the newcomers Shea Whigham (Joker), Pom Clementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Avengers: Infinity War) AND Esai Morales (La Bamba, Titans), Charles Parnell, Indira Varma (game of Thrones), Marco GatisAND Cary Elwes (Saw). Nick Offerman (Parks and Amusement)Janet McTeer (Tumbleweed, Albert Nobbs), Hanna Waddingham (Ted Lasso), AND Holt McCallany (Mindhunter, Nightmare Alley).
I’m excited about this movie and apparently it’s testing sky high with test audiences! President of Paramount Global Bob Bakish recently said, “I haven’t seen all of Mission: Impossible 7, but I’ve seen a ton of it. We actually just did the first test screening for an audience last week, and the audience lost their mind. And it’s still too much long, they have to cut it. But the movie is insane. It’s like a complete thrill ride. E [Tom Cruise]he’s very good.”
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, first part AND Second part will be released on July 14, 2023 and June 28, 2024. You can watch the teaser trailer for the film here.
