“I talk openly about my relationships with drug use and addiction. The consequences of this have been in both theater and cinema. Even after that, I didn’t stop,” Nikita began. According to her, she tried various methods of coping with alcoholism, but nothing helped her.
“I think the most important thing is to reach the bottom emotionally. When I’m ready to admit in my heart: “Nikitos, you’re probably not the best manager of your life.” No one knows how people with addictions try not to do it: how you make so many vows to yourself, how you scold yourself for not being able to stand it any more. Addiction is stronger than me. I need help here. My main mistake was that I thought this was my problem and had to deal with it alone, ”the actor shared.
Recall that in 2020, Nikita’s father, actor Mikhail Efremov, was the culprit of a fatal accident due to alcohol poisoning, for which the court sentenced him to 7.5 years in prison.
