Harper’s Bazaar to be rebranded after licenses to Esquire and Cosmopolitan are revoked
Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Esquire and other publications of the Independent Media brand will change their names and concepts after the Hearst holding revoked their licenses during the Russian military special operation in Ukraine. Natalya Vesnina, the company’s CEO, told Peopletalk about this.
He noted that the projects will receive new recognizable names in the near future and will be a new version of “familiar products with an expanded concept”.
At the same time, the composition of editorial boards and editorial directors will be preserved. According to Vesnina, new versions will be released gradually. The question of whether the printed versions of the magazines will be published is still unanswered.
