Vladimir Putin’s chief TV propagandist urged Russia to attack London in an affront to Western countries and their support for Ukraine.
Vladimir Solovyov, who hosts shows on the state-run Russia-1, regularly unleashes diatribes about how the country should use nuclear strikes to exterminate its enemies.
His monologues have grown increasingly aggressive since the Russian president launched the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, urging Moscow to authorize attacks on the West as Putin’s forces continue to fight.
In his recent ruling, Solovyov spoke of the possibility of the British government sending fighter jets to Ukraine. Kiev has begged Western countries for warplanes as Russia is believed to be planning another attack to take over the country.
“Can’t we finally strike in London? What’s the problem?’ the presenter asked viewers of his Solovyov live show, clips of which have since been translated.
Vladimir Putin’s chief TV propagandist Vladimir Solovyov (pictured) has again urged Russia to attack London in a lashing out at Western countries and their support for Ukraine
“No, no, no – only at military targets,” he continues, as if answering someone who doesn’t approve of his suggestion. “Well, in Parliament too,” he added.
“Now you [Britain] planes will give [to Ukraine] to penetrate deep into Russia’s territory,’ he added, as if that would justify an attack on London.
Solovyov went on to say that Britain – along with almost all UN members – recognizes Crimea as part of Ukraine and not Russia.
After an internationally unrecognized referendum during the occupation of Crimea suggested that the backed peninsula was part of Russia, the Russian-backed Crimean parliament declared Ukraine’s independence.
Russia then illegally annexed the territory in 2014. At the time, the move was widely condemned by the international community.
Solovyov said: “At the same time they have [Britain] smart says, “No, well, we just don’t recognize Crimea as Russia.” What about Kaliningrad?’ he asked rhetorically.
“What do you want to tell us? That is, you will now determine what Russia is for you? Not the people living in Russia will decide, no referendum, no vote, but you decide what Russia is for us?
“Then we won’t realize it at all – for us there is no England at all. Not France. No Germany.
“Instead there are Nazi states, united by hatred of all things Russian,” he said, echoing false claims by the Kremlin that Ukraine and its Western allies were ruled by Nazi governments. ‘
So let’s get serious. Think there are no red lines?

Solovyov specifically criticized the warlord for wearing his signature khaki uniform, although Solovyov presented his show in a camouflage outfit not dissimilar to Zelensky’s. (Pictured: Zelenskyy addresses British MPs in Westminster Hall on February 8)

‘Okay. Let’s show them that there are no more red lines,” he demanded.
“Let’s strike! So that the first calls. That’s how the Nazis get away [Emmanuel] Macron on [German chancellor Olaf] Scholz, surname [German defence minister Boris] Pistorius to Rishi Sunak, had their testicles contract and jump out of their ears in fear.
“Maybe they are starting to understand something,” he said at the end of the monologue.
At the start of the program, Solovyov again called for pre-emptive nuclear strikes against Ukraine’s allies for supplying Kiev with weapons.
He also attacked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy over his recent visits to London, Paris and Brussels. He criticized the war leader for wearing his signature khaki uniform, although Solovyov presented his show in a similar camouflage outfit.
However, his diatribe was interrupted by technical difficulties, prompting Solovyov to direct his anger at the studio technicians.
“Why do we have to take it all the time? They deliver tanks, will deliver planes and missiles. Why don’t we sink it on approach?’ he asked, reportedly criticizing Russia’s inaction on arms sales to Ukraine.
“Your ships bring Bradleys [tanks]why are they not destroyed?
“They’re blowing up our gas pipelines, even their own press says America did it! And we say: “No, no, come on, these are red lines”.

“Maybe that’s enough? Let’s change our doctrine by allowing a pre-emptive strike. Let’s do exercises. Strategic and tactical nuclear weapons exercises.’
Solovyov read the commentary stream on his live stream and interrupted his threats to say his viewers had told him the show had been cut.
“They say our mission is lost. Guys, what’s going on?’ he asked the technicians.
“Shall we broadcast on our Telegram channel? What is there to test if it is not there? What can be tested? It’s not there! What about our technicians? Why are people texting me and you don’t see it?” he said angrily.
“Find out why you are not broadcasting on Telegram! Is there an answer or not?’
