Tote is the same bag that can easily fit your whole life and even more. It is distinguished by its impressive size, rectangular shape and short handles. As a rule, bags are worn on the shoulder, but there are models with additional long straps that allow you to carry the bag over your shoulder. By the way, the first models of this accessory appeared about a hundred years ago, when women used them to go to the grocery store.

Crossbody suits come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but all models can be worn over the shoulder. At the end of the 19th century, every postman had such a bag, and a few decades later, Coco Chanel took the crossbody to a new level. It was she who recommended that women wear long chain bags, eliminating the need to always keep the accessory in one hand or under the seat.

Remember, a hobo is always composed of soft shapes, a semicircular top and a single solid handle. By the way, literally the name of this model is translated as “bum bag”. And because for many it looks like a bag that the poor tie to a stick. Years later, hoboes literally monopolized the hippies. Shopper literally translates as a shopping bag, so they do not have zippers or buckles. Most often, such a model is made of footer or canvas, but now there are options from eco-leather, vinyl and suede.

A pouch is a small bag-shaped bag that is tightened with a drawstring. And here’s an interesting fact: previously, tobacco was tucked into pouches and tied to a belt for convenience. But those days are gone and the accessory has a new use. By the way, many people confuse this model with the bucket bag, but in the next paragraph we will explain what the difference is.
