Spanish pop rock band Hombres G continue filling stadiums across Spain, Latin America, and the United States with concerts celebrating four decades of pop hits.
The Madrid group, formed by lead vocalist and songwriter David Summers, guitarist Rafa Gutiérrez, guitarist Dani Mezquita, and drummer Javi Molina, performs for audiences spanning four generations. All four band members have now passed 60 years of age while continuing an active international tour schedule.
Their current concert setlists run for two and a half hours, delivering a continuous stream of hit records from start to finish. The four musicians originally launched the band in Madrid to emulate their favorite musical artists and meet women.
Summers noted that the group members never regarded themselves as aristocrats or street toughs, identifying instead as regular neighborhood youths. Their early career developed from gathering spots in Madrid such as La Esquina de Rowland, a local bar that served as their initial base.

International Tours Across the Americas
Hombres G maintain an extensive touring footprint across the Western Hemisphere, drawing massive stadium crowds in Mexico, Peru, and across both coasts of the United States. In Mexico, their sold out performances consistently disprove recent public claims that Mexican audiences hold animosity toward Spanish musicians.
In Peru, dedicated fans save money for months and sacrifice personal essentials to purchase stadium concert tickets. Their arrival in South American stadiums has made their live shows major celebratory events for local attendees.
The quartet has also achieved widespread success in North America by staging coast to coast tours across the United States. Their tour itineraries include historic American venues such as the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, alongside Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Spanish Language Influence and Live Shows
The band's stadium success highlights the growing global reach of Spanish language culture in major international venues. Spanish language culture also took center stage during the football World Cup final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19, an event attended by Donald Trump where the Spain national team, known as La Roja, secured victory.
On stage, Hombres G deliver high intensity performances that function like a 5,000-horsepower engine. Their multi-generational shows create a shared space where grandparents, parents, children, and grandchildren gather to hear the same music.
Summers led the band's creative direction from its inception, assembling a catalog containing approximately 30 hit singles. While a band might achieve a few successful tracks by chance, building 30 hit records required sustained creative drive and leadership.
Classic Hits and Film Project
The group's concert setlists focus heavily on classic recordings from the 1980s, which serve as emotional anchors for long time fans while attracting younger listeners. Viewers experience the concerts as a journey back to earlier moments in their lives when their sense of innocence remained intact.
Their active concert repertoire features famous tracks including Devuélveme a mi chica, Venezia, Lawrence de Arabia, Hace un año, and Indiana. Additional live favorites include Marta tiene un marcapasos, Te quiero, El ataque de las chicas cocodrilo, Un par de palabras, and Visite nuestro bar.
The quartet also performs Temblando, Suéltate el pelo, Voy a pasármelo bien, and Te necesito. These songs originated during the 1980s pop movement in Spain and remain core components of Spanish rock history alongside the band's newer releases.
Reflecting on their broader creative work, Summers described their film project as offering audiences a powerful dose of tenderness, expressing the enduring personal connection among the four lifelong friends.
