Studies show that more than 80 percent of American children develop earaches by the age of three.
The problem is usually the result of a viral infection and can lead to severe pain – and is the reason for about 30 million visits to the pediatrician each year.
Now, TikTok influencer and pharmacist Dr. Angela Dori shared an inspired way to treat the problem using two items found in your kitchen.
The video she shared, which has been viewed more than 200,000 times, shows the pharmacy doctor demonstrating the medication, which she says makes the pain go away “within a few days”.

How to Dr. Ear pain reliever to use Dori can be used at home
1) Dip a paper towel in warm water.
2nd place the soaked handkerchief at the bottom of a glass.
3) Place the glass firmly on the ear. This creates a vacuum and heat that relaxes the muscles in the area, promotes better blood circulation and relieves the feeling of tension.
Dori, who has 587,000 followers on the platform, starts by dipping a paper towel in hot water before placing the soaked tissue in the bottom of a glass.
Then she puts the glass firmly against her ear. This creates “a vacuum” and warmth, which helps with earaches, she says.
Ear pain is often the result of a blockage in the ear canal. This is usually due to fluid that has built up in response to an infection. The fluid causes excessive pressure behind the eardrum, causing pain.
Experts say that while there are a number of paid treatments available, simply applying a warm vacuum around the ear canal can help the fluid drain out, reducing blockage.
The heat also relaxes the muscles in the area and promotes better blood circulation, thereby relieving the feeling of tension.
But ear pain isn’t the only ailment that Dr. Dori addresses with her unconventional hacks.
In another video that has been viewed nearly five million times, the pharmacist suggests that gently rubbing the thumb over the knuckle can ease a sore throat.

Meanwhile, another shows her pressing on the pressure points on either side of her ears as she opens her mouth to relieve the ringing sound of her tinnitus.
“These hacks have worked for my patients,” says Dr. Dory.
Other suggestions from Dr. Dori stocks are not supported by mainstream American medical institutions, such as rubbing black seed oil and rosemary oil on the scalp to prevent hair loss.

The pharmacist also recommends rubbing turmeric on the joints to treat sports injuries such as sprained ankles and even arthritis flare-ups.
“All you have to do is mix a teaspoon of turmeric powder with a teaspoon of honey to hold it together and a pinch of Epsom salt or even regular table salt,” she says in a video.
“Apply it to the affected area, cover it with gauze and put some plastic wrap around it.” If this is repeated for two to three days, it will “work like magic”, she says.

Some research suggests that turmeric may ease joint pain, but little has shown any benefit in humans
Numerous studies indicate that turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties for the joints due to the content of a powerful compound called curcumin.
However, few human studies have found significant benefits in conditions such as arthritis and osteoporosis.
Research has also shown that the amount of curcumin in over-the-counter supplements is too small to provide any health benefits.
