In a few months Keanu Reeves is back in the suit of stick-distributing and vengeance, that is On February 24, 2023, “John Wick 4” is released in cinemas, the next chapter in this action and suspense saga in which the actor plays a former hitman forced to return to the criminal world. To warm up for the premiere, a new image of Reeves as the lethal John Wick was just shared.

Courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, the image shows us Keanu Reeves as John Wick facing one of the many characters who will suffer from his great fighting skills. “Don’t bother us with the details. It’s Keanu Reeves, right? In various bone-crushing sequences that have more convincing hand-to-hand combat techniques and great stunt choreography than CGI? That’s all we need to hear.”, write the magazine in the text accompanying the image. ‘John Wick 4’ promises to reach a new level in the saga according to Laurence Fishburne, an actor part of the franchise since the second chapter: “I’ve read the script. It’s great. While it’s the same world as the other three films, it’s deeper. It’s much deeper in terms of code than an assassin.” For his part, Reeves explained at Comic Con in Brazil (taken over by ComicBook) that filming “John Wick 4” wasn’t exactly another one in his career: “It’s the hardest movie I’ve ever made. In terms of action, it’s the hardest movie I’ve ever made. But that’s what makes it so good.”
Directed by Chad Stahelski, director of the previous films, ‘John Wick 4’ counts among its ranks, in addition to Reeves and Fishburne, with Bill Skarsgård, Donnie Yen, Ian McShane, Rina Sawayama, Natalia Tena, Shamier Anderson, Marko Zaror, Scott Adkins, Lance Reddick and Hiroyuki Sanada. In this new story, John Wick faces his deadliest adversaries with an ever-increasing bounty on his head, something that doesn’t stop him from conquering the High Table. globally as he tries to track down the most powerful criminals in his underworld. We will visit New York, Paris, Osaka and Berlin in this adventure which will debut in theaters on March 24, 2023.
Spin-off with Ana de Armas
The John Wick universe expands with “Ballerina”, a film starring Ana de Armas and directed by Len Wiseman. In this spinoff, whose filming has already begun and which is chronologically placed between the events of ‘John Wick 3’ and ‘John Wick 4’, the story of Ruska Roma will be explored, the criminal organization that we saw in the third installment starring Reeves. The cast is composed, in addition to Ana de Armas, by Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno and Norman Reedus. While it will only be in cameo form, Keanu Reeves himself will appear in “Ballerina” as John Wick.
