‘Shrek 5’ is reality: Antonio Banderas confirms that the ogre “will return”

The first time I did Puss in Boots was on Broadway, so that’s where I did my first takes. Now I have done five films. There will probably be another one and Shrek will probably be back,” the actor said.

For the uninitiated, ‘Shrek 5’ has been planned since 2017, but it was not easy for DreamWorks to finish the production, as several plans intervened with its realization. Originally, DreamWorks planned to release “Shrek 5” in 2019, according to Deadline.
