‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’: First trailer for Transformers’ return to theaters

The ‘Transformers’ saga returns to theaters next year with ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’. The last time we saw alien robots was in 2018’s ‘Bumblebee’. This time Optimus Prime and his entire team also return in one of the biggest expansions of the franchise’s big screen lore. Here is its first trailer:

The Autobots and Decepticons are already just two of the extraterrestrial “races” that inhabit the Earth. It’s time to discover the Maximals, the Predacons and the Terrorcons. The former are the descendants of the Autobots, something like improved models capable of adopting more animalistic forms, such as the gorilla we see in the trailer. The Predacons are the evolution of the Decepticons, which tend to mimic reptilian forms. And the Terrorcons are five creatures capable of merging into one very powerful one called the Abominus.

The “Beast Wars” thus comes to the film franchise in a story that will, once again, put poor humans at the center of this battle for survival. Anthony Ramos (‘In a New York district’) and Dominique Fishback (‘Judas and the Black Messiah’) lead the human castwhich has in its voice cast Michelle Yeoh, Ron Perlman, Pete Davidson and Peter Cullen again as Optimus Prime.
