Anjelica Huston returns to the JOHN WICK spin-off Ballerina to reprise the director’s role


Academy Award Winning Actress Angelica Houston (Honor of Prizzi, The Addams family) is returning to John Wick franchise in the upcoming film Dancerin which he will reprise his role of The Director, in which he starred John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. He joins the stars of the film Ana de Armas, Keanu ReevesAnd Ian McShane. Len Wiseman is directing the film, from a screenplay written by Emerald Fennell And Shay Hatten.

The plot involves a young woman (de Armas) with assassin skills who uses said skills to take revenge when her family is killed by hitmen. Huston’s role from The Director is the head of the criminal organization Ruska Roma. Ian McShane reprises his role as Winston, manager of the Continental, the fan-favorite assassin hotel with its own rules and dire consequences for breaking them.

Erica Lee, who is producing the project alongside Basil Iwanyk and Chad Stahelski, said of the project:

“The idea for Ballerina was formed around the scenes with Anjelica in John Wick 3. Anjelica Huston is an icon and she is none other than Hollywood royalty. Wick’s world is always enriched by her commanding presence on screen.

It will be great to see Huston in the role again. Production on the film is already underway and a release date should be scheduled soon.
