One of the things I liked the most about the Guardians of the Galaxy film is the music I direct James Gunn embed. Not only is it great music, but it also drives the story forward.
Well, when it comes to her next project Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, put together another soundtrack and released the tracklist recently, which I’ve included below. That tracklist includes an original song titled “I Don’t Know What Christmas Is (But Christmastime Is Here),” which Gunn co-wrote with Old 97’s.
Gunn said, “When I wrote a song for the [Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special]I asked my friend [Rhett Miller] to write with me and then said, “What the heck, why you and the [Old 97’s] play the band?!’ Some of the funniest days on set ever.

In the film, Star-Lord is feeling very down about his situation with Gamora. So Drax and Mantis head to Earth to bring back Peter Quill the perfect gift to cheer him up! Something he’ll never forget, that is Kevin Bacon..
The film also stars Dave Bautista like Drax, Vin Diesel like Groot, Bradley Cooper like Rocket, Pom Clementieff such as Mantis, e Sean Gunn like Kraglin. It has also been revealed that Michael Rocker will appear in the movie!
Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special arrives on Disney+ on November 25th.
