When I was doing research for the classic 1988 Halloween horror movie Lady in Whitefor our podcast Secret level, I came across a behind-the-scenes video that I had never seen before. Since Lady in White is one of my all time favorite movies, finding this video was like finding a treasure and I just wanted to share it with you!
This video features over an hour of behind the scenes footage from the director Frank LaLoggia working with his cast and crew and it’s just so wonderful to watch him at work. He also introduces the director talking about some scenes he’s shooting and joking sometimes.
This video simply made me happy, and if you are a fan of this classic film, I have no doubt that you will love it too. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, do! It’s so good!
Locked in the cloakroom after school for a Halloween prank, Frankie (Lukas Haas) encounters the ghost of a young neighborhood girl, Melissa Anne Montgomery (Joelle Jacobi), who was found strangled to death 10 years earlier. Frankie soon discovers that nine other children have been killed in the intervening years, and with the ghostly help of Melissa and her mother, a grieving apparition known as The Lady in White (Karen Powell), attempts to uncover the killer before they become his latest victim.
