Scarlet Pokémon And Violet Pokémon they are almost there and The Pokémon Company has released a new trailer for the game. The trailer shows a lot of moments throughout the game, particularly with Tera Battles, plus there are some new Pokémon shown. The trailer is set to Ed Sheeran’s “Celestial” which is very catchy and upbeat, very appropriate for a Pokémon game. In addition to the trailer, however, we got some important details.
First, we have the Scarlet Book and the Purple Book that will appear in their respective versions of the game. These books are expedition documents from long ago claiming to have gone to an unexplored area of the Paldea region. It is unclear whether the books are true or not, but inside are photos and sketches of unidentified creatures. Specifically, the Scarlet Book as information about a creature known as the Great Tusk. Meanwhile, the Purple Book tells of a creature known as Iron Treads. Both appear potentially related to Donphan.
-
The monster known as the great fang
-
The Scarlet Book describes how this wild monster attacked the expedition team with its large body and fangs, mortally wounding one of the scouts.
-
-
The monster known as Iron Treads
-
It is said in the Purple Book that when this monster folds its body and rolls to attack, it leaves a trail carved into the ground, as if it had burned the earth.

Subsequently, information was given on some black crystals that trainers might find while venturing into Paldea. These crystals look different than the standard ones that initiate Tera Raid Battles and activate Tera Raid Battles with much stronger Pokémon producing exciting rewards. We recommend that you hurry if you see one as they are only available for a limited time. A Black Crystal Tera Raid Battle will be available December 1-4 and December 15-18 with a Dragon Tera-type Charizard. This is of particular importance as Charizard is not normally in Paldea. To participate in the Tera Raid Battles of the Black Crystal, players will need to complete certain post-match events or join others via a linking code. I guess this adds an incentive to get the game on startup.

There will be more Tera Raid Battle events, including on crystals that look ordinary but have a mysterious aura. The first of these events will be the Eevee Spotlight which takes place November 24-27, when Eevee with a variety of Tera types will appear more frequently in Tera Raid Battles.

Another new Pokémon called Gimmighoul was recently revealed. This little guy comes in two forms (Cashier and Roaming) and a love of coins.
-
Gimmighoul (chest shape)
-
These Gimmighoul hide inside sturdy treasure chests. While this provides them with a solid defense, the weight of the chest causes Gimmighoul to move slowly, making travel difficult. It is not uncommon for Chest Form Gimmighoul to be mistaken for an antique and taken home or sold to an antique shop.
-
When Gimmighoul hears a person or Pokémon approaching, he ambushes them. He then uses phantom energy to control his target, forcing him to collect coins. Because he often hides in warehouses, corners of shops, and other places that people and Pokémon don’t frequent, he tends to keep constant control of those he manages to meet.

Gimmighoul (wandering form)
-
This type of Gimmighoul doesn’t hide in a treasure chest. He is small, carries only one coin on his back and can be found hidden throughout Paldea. However, since they flee as soon as a person approaches, it appears that no Trainer in Paldea has ever managed to catch one.

But wait, there’s more. There will be compatibility for Scarlet And Viola within Pokémon Home starting in the spring of 2023. This will allow all Pokémon from the new games to be archived Pokémon Home and select Pokémon from previous games to take to Paldea. That said, Battle Stadium stats will be available soon Scarlet And Viola in the mobile version of Pokémon Home. Also, if you link Scarlet and Violet to Pokémon Goyou will receive a Gimmighoul Roaming in Pokémon Go.

Self Scarlet And Viola they are not the first Pokémon games you played on Switch, you can also get Rotom Phone cases in the game. Of course, not all Switch games are applicable, but if you have save data for one of the following games, you’ll get a case that matches the respective game: Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Shining Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! o Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!. Oh, and it looks like the games may involve a reincarnation cycle based on one of the screenshots.

Finally, the team announced that updates are planned for Scarlet And Viola post-launch. The first update (v. 1.0.1) will be released on launch day and will allow online play. You may want to download it before playing. This makes it seem like the team is planning a little more for the ninth generation of games. I wonder what new things we can expect to see.
Scarlet And Viola will be released on November 18 for Nintendo Switch. If you haven’t pre-ordered your copy yet, you can do so on Nintendo eShop or at your favorite retailers, including GameStop (affiliate link). Which version will you play and which starter will you choose?
