Strange Al tells the truth about his relationship with Madonna as his biopic STRANGE: THE STORY OF AL YANKOVIC is released

Strange: the story of Al Yankovic has been officially released on Roku and fans love it. It has received great reviews and looks like it will be a lot of fun with Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) in the lead role, although “biopic” was clearly a vague concept for the film’s structure.

For fans of the musician Weird Al, we are aware that Al Yankovic’s life has been quite discreet. Super-star status aside, Al has escaped the radar with regards to scandal and lust, and he’s truly a beloved and sweet guy that people only have good things to say about.

So the film probably lied a bit when it comes to the details, and Al Yankovic himself has set the record straight when it comes to telling the truth about his relationship with Madonna, who is heavily featured in the film and played by Evan Rachel Wood (Western world).

Yankovic explained Tonight’s show with Jimmy Fallon:

“Well, there are some little nuggets of truth scattered throughout the biopic. The only time I met – Our relationship is platonic, by the way – The only time I really met her was in the 1985, I talked to her for maybe 45 seconds behind the scenes. So that’s the scope of the relationship. “
