While speaking with Collider, Gilroy revealed the directors who will be arriving to direct the second half of Cassian Andor’s journey. These directors include Ariel Kleiman (Yellowjackets, The Resort), Giano Metz (All the old knives), And Alonso Ruizpalazzos (Outer Range, True Detective). Each will direct their own block of episodes.
The Andor the series explores “a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series continues the story of the nascent rebellion against the Empire and the involvement of people and planets. It is an era full of danger, deceit and intrigue in which Cassian will embark on the path destined to transform him into a rebellious hero.
The Star Wars the series will cover all five years prior to the events of Thief Oneand it is described as “a narrative that spans a vast whole”, which includes Stellan Skarsgard (Thor), Adria Arjona (Morbio), Fiona Shaw (Kill Eve), Denise Gough (Under the banner of heaven) And Kyle Soller (Poldark).
