Right now, Henry Cavill is one of the most recognized and loved actors by the public, having been part of some of the most popular franchises of the moment, such as ‘The Witcher’ as Geralt and in the UEDC as Superman. With the end of the first season of “House of the Dragon” on HBO, fans want the British actor to be someone like Aegon Targaryen.
A few months ago, rumors claimed that Elizabeth Olsen and Henry Cavill would appear ‘House of the Dragon’, which turned out to be false. However, the protagonist of ‘The Witcher’ seems to have a close relationship with George RR Martin’s universe, as he is known to be a fan of fantasy worlds, as well as video games.
With the popularity of both sides, the fans ask Henry Cavill to enter ‘The Dragon House 2’, which will begin shooting early next year. In case of interest, Warner, owner of the rights to the work of Martin, and with a history of relationships with Cavill, the possibilities are there, and more, now that Cavill does not have a strong commitment, from the filming of ‘The Witcher’ for Netflix ended a few months ago.

In the first chapter of ‘House or the Dragon’ on HBO Max, King Viserys and Alicent Hightower try to have a child, after having failed on several occasions with the king’s first wife, Aemma Arryn. That is why Rhaenyra is named heir, although Aegon, the king’s eldest son, was born in that same chapter, and has opened many quarrels in the kingdom.
If Henry Cavill joins the second season of “House of the Dragon”, fans will want to see him as Aegon or a young Robert. So Cavill is once again tied to this fantasy world. For those who do not remember, in the pre-production of the series, rumors predicted that the actor will play Daemon, a role that has finally been entrusted to Matt Smith.
It is clear that Aegon could be the key to the second season of “House of the Dragon”, perhaps in the form of flashbacks, or even as the protagonist of much of the story, as well as his conquest of the Seven Kingdoms. So we will have to wait for registrations to start for more information.
