Blumhouse has released a trailer for a new suspense thriller titled Soft and silent and it looks really interesting! The trailer doesn’t reveal a lot of story details, but the trailer starts out softly and quietly and then degenerates into some kind of crazy madness after someone is killed.
Here is the synopsis:
Playing in real time, SOFT & QUIET is a runaway train that follows a single afternoon in the life of elementary school teacher, Emily, as she organizes an inaugural meeting of the like-minded women’s club. When everyone decides to move the meeting to Emily’s house to keep running the wine, they stop at the local shop to get some refreshments. At the store, an altercation erupts between a woman from Emily’s past and the group, leading to an unstable chain of events.
The film was written and directed by Beth de Araújo, who said, “I don’t want to give you relief. You’re not looking at the monsters or “those racists over there”. You are watching humans do monstrous things; this is what makes us so dangerous. Maybe that monster, the potential monster and the concept of white supremacy lives in you and all of us. “
The cast includes Stefania Estes, Olivia Luccardi, Eleonora Pienta, Dana Millican, Melissa Paolo, Jon BeaversAnd Cissy Ly.
The film will be released on November 4th.
