Universal Pictures has released a wonderful clip from a new one 40 years of ET featurette for the 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray reissue of Steven Spielberg’S ET The extraterrestrial. The clip is titled “Inner Child” and is present Leonardo Martino And Ernest Cline (Ready player one) discussing Spielberg and the special things he brings to this classic film as a director.
The video also features some great behind-the-scenes footage from the film that I don’t remember ever seeing before. This is one of my all time favorite movies. It’s the first movie I remember seeing in a cinema, and it was such a special experience because it ignited my love of cinema.
In the clip, Martin says, “Steven Spielberg has the gift of getting into the child in all of us because he has that quality himself.”
