Halloween ends surely it was an interesting and unexpected way to end Halloween franchising. Many fans are divided on how the film turned out. While I liked the concept and liked what they were looking for, the execution didn’t work for me. For me, it was like Hallmark or Lifetime did a Halloween movie, that’s what it would be like.

Now, I enjoyed watching the movie! I watched in a movie theater with an audience laughing and making fun of aspects of the film, such as the dialogue, and how certain aspects of the story unfolded. I’m still going to watch the movie again in a different setting, because I have friends who tell me it’s a great movie and that I’m completely wrong.

Either way, there was a controversial decision made with the story that wouldn’t put the emphasis on Michael Myers and Laurie Strode. Instead, the main focus of the film was on a new character named Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell) and his relationship with Allyson (Andi Matichak), Laurie’s niece.

Director David Gordon Green recently explained why the decision to detain Michael was made by telling Collider:

“It’s still a controversy today. I just saw the film outside of a technical format, ie in a mix of sounds or a color correction, for the first time two days ago. We just finished this film. [Laughs] So two days ago, and I’m looking at it and I thought, ‘We ask a lot.

“But then when we were in the editing room and we would have done it [it] otherwise, it seemed wrong. And so if you don’t have an intuition, if you don’t have a vision, you shouldn’t be doing this movie, and I think there are obvious challenges and things you would like to discuss with the editors, with the producers and say, “This is what feels right. “and at one point we all looked at each other and said, ‘We’re taking a big risk here, but it feels right and we know we’re getting in. Let’s do it.'”

So, eventually, Corey becomes something like Michael’s protege in the film, learning to embrace the evil he absorbed from Michael Myers. It is through Corey that we are ultimately reintroduced to Michael, who has just been hiding in Haddonfield’s sewers from the events of Halloween kills.

What have you all been thinking about Halloween ends? Were you happy with the movie !?
