A collection of photos has been released for the upcoming combat drama Rumble through the darkness giving us a first look at its stars Bella Thorne And Aaron Eckhart.
The film is based on the novel Fightfrom Michael Farris Smith, who also wrote the script. The story follows “an elderly fighter with his bare hands trying to repay his debts in one last attempt to save the home of his dying adoptive mother”.
The film was directed by Graham and Parker Phillips (The past), and stated in a statement: “We knew we needed an artist brave enough to deal with the despair, addiction, physical pain and emotional rawness of the fighter, Jack Boucher; Aaron answered that call and then some. He put everything on the set every day and pushed himself beyond his physical and emotional limits. The boy is a born fighter. “
The film was shot last year in Natchez, Mississippi. Executive producers are Tate Taylor (Girl on a train) And Giovanni Norris. Cassiano Elwes (Dallas Buyers Club) produced the film together Cleta Ellington.
Elwes said of Thorne: “Bella turned out to be a tour de force and brought her role to life with voracious action, vulnerability and grit.”
