Atari is one of the oldest names in video games and is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary. One of the ways they are celebrating is with the release of the interactive anthology, Atari 50: The anniversary celebration. Recently pre-ordered, this anthology aims to do more than just pack games together. Although it contains over 90 titles distributed over 50 years, Atari 50 offers “a true interactive story” with development sketches, hardware schematics, internal memos and many other “artifacts”. In honor of the collection, developer Digital Eclipse has even created 5 new games that “revisit, mix and revisit Atari Classics”.
