You gotta love the Marvel rumor mill! There is a rumor making the rounds online right now that is making Marvel fans even more excited about the upcoming Marvel. Daredevil: Born again series.
The rumor was born with the scooper KC Walsh, who explained it Kristen RitterJessica Jones was originally intended to appear in Born again, but it didn’t work due to scheduling. So, Marvel Studios reportedly decided to bring Jon BernthalIn the series there is instead Frank Castle.
Now, Walsh hasn’t mentioned Bernthal by name, but there have been rumors buzzing about the possibility of Bernthal’s Frank Castle showing up for months on an upcoming MCU project and that he might even get his own solo series again. The appearance of him in Born again could definitely set it up.
This is just a rumor for now, but it’s a rumor that many fans would like to see come true. Jon Bernthal is fantastic in the role of Frank Castle and it would be a shame if we never see him in that role again. I’m actually pretty confident we haven’t seen Bernthal’s latest Punisher, but I’m not sure for sure when or where we’ll see him appear again in the MCU.

Basically Born Again is reintroducing Netflix characters into the mainstream and they had planned to bring Ritter, but there is a scheduling problem for Born Again.
