Actress Demi Moore (Ghost, Few good men) is currently in talks to join season 2 of the FX anthology series Feudwhich is titled Feudo: the women of Capote. The series was created by Ryan Murphywhich he also created American horror story, 9-1-1, Pinch / tuck, Joy And Poseamong others.
If the deal goes through, Moore will join Tom Hollanderwho plays Capote; Calista Flockhart, Diane Corsia, Noemi WattsAnd Chloe Sevigny in the cast.
“An adaptation of Laurence Leamer’s bestseller Capote’s women: a true story of love, betrayal and a swan song for an erathe miniseries is set in the 1970s and ends with the death of Truman Capote in 1984. It tells the story of the famous author prodigy as he stabs many of his friends – whom he called his “cigne” – in the back by publishing a novel à clef short story titled “La Côte Basque 1965” in Esquire in 1975. The piece was supposed to be a chapter of Capote’s infamous unfinished novel Answered prayersthe sequel to the blockbuster In cold blood.“
Twice nominated for an Oscar Gus Van Sant will direct all eight episodes, with Tony and Pulitzer nominations Jon Robin Baitz writing all episodes and serving as showrunner. I hope Moore joins the cast. I think she is a great actress and I can’t wait to read this interesting story.
