In recent years, Matthew McConaughey has not had the opportunity to see his return to the big screen, until ‘Dallas Sting’ appeared, the film that would mark his return to theaters. However, now Skydance has come out to confirm that the premiere of the tape will not be possible, since they canceled the release due to some “disturbing allegations.”

According to information from The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Dallas Sting’, the new film with Matthew MacConaughey has been canceled, in which Kari Skoglan, in charge of “Falcon and the Winter Soldier”, would be the director of the story. In the story, McConaughey would play Bill Kinder, coach of the Dallas women’s team, who beat several of the top soccer teams in 1984.

Skydance, producer behind the film, confirmed that he will cancel the release of ‘Dallas Ting’ due to “disturbing allegations”, Which, according to Daily mailare linked to the alleged mistreatment of the coach, Bill Kinder, towards the players, who allegedly abused them, both physically and verbally.

So far Skydance has not confirmed the real reasons for the cancellation of ‘Dallas Sting’, however it is reasonable that given the allegations about the person who inspired this tape were enough not to want to continue with the production. And so, Matthew McConaughey will have to wait a few more months to return to the big screen.
