Marvel reportedly chooses Harriet Sansom Harris as villain in WEREWOLF BY NIGHT series

New news has emerged for Marvel’s upcoming Disney + series Werewolf at night. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Harriet Sansom Harris (Frasier, desperate housewives) will play a villain in the series, “a leader of an evil sect named Verrusa. He is said to lead a sect from the house of Bloodstone.

Verrusa is not a Marvel Comics character, but the name Bloodstone definitely cropped up with a character called Elsa Bloodstone, who is a monster hunter who appears in the comics. She is rumored to have other appearances in the series as well.

Old actor Gael Garcia Bernal is he will be the protagonist of the series and will most likely play the Jack Russell version of Werewolf By Night. It has also been reported in the past that Nina Price, aka Vampire By Night, a vampire-werewolf hybrid who appears to be Russell’s granddaughter in the comics.

The Jack Russell version of the character is the victim of an ancient family curse and has struggled with his beastly alter ego for years. “But over time he has conquered his inner demons. He now he battles the dark forces that plague our world. He is a defender of justice, an avenger of shadows and a werewolf at night.

The character is able to transform into a werewolf at will while retaining his human intellect. There are many unconfirmed reports online regarding this Marvel Halloween Special, including Mahershala Ali appearing as Blade in the series.

Regardless of the rumors and speculation, it will be a lot of fun whatever it ends up being. This is just such a funny character!
