
The soundtrack that John Williams created for Steven Spielberg’S ET the extraterrestrial it is incredibly beautiful! I love listening to that music. It’s easily one of the composer’s best works, and won an Oscar for his work in the film in 1983. Well, that et the soundtrack is coming to vinyl for the film’s 40th anniversary, thanks to Mondo.
World will release the et score on 180 gram colored vinyl. The album features the cover of Dan McCarthy and liner notes by Mike Duquette. Bruce Botnickwho produced the original score with Williams, also produced the reissue together Mike Matessino.
Collectors have three different colors to choose from. The two colored options are “Full Moon” and “Heartlight” vinyl. Additionally, the album will also be available on standard black vinyl.
Pre-orders for Mondo’s et the soundtrack will officially go live today, August 31st at 12 pm CT. The album retails for $ 40 and can be sold here.
