‘Pinocchio’: New trailer for the live action remake of the animated classic for Disney +

The live-action version of “Pinocchio”, Walt Disney’s second feature film, arrives exclusively on Disney + on September 8 On the occasion of Disney + Day, and a few weeks before the premiere, the streaming platform has released a new trailer of the remake, which gives us a much more detailed look a Pinocchio very faithful to the Disney Classic animated versionas well as the modern reinterpretations of the mythical characters that accompany it.

Oscar winner Robert Zemeckis (“Back to the Future”, “Forrest Gump”) directs the live-action in which we will relive the captivating story of the famous wooden puppet who embarks on an adventure to become a real boy.

The cast is led by Tom Hanks, who plays Geppetto, with little Benjamin Evan Ainsworth (“The Haunting of Bly Manor”) as Pinocchio. Meanwhile, Joseph Gordon-Levitt provides the original voice of Jiminy Cricket, while Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo plays the Blue Fairy, with Keegan-Michael Key as Honest John, Lorraine Bracco as new character Sofia the Seagull and Luke Evans, who was Gastón in “Beauty and the Beast”, playing another iconic Disney villain, The Coachman.
