I have a trailer here for Shudder’s intense looking horror movie Don’t say evil. In the film, a Danish family accepts an invitation to the rural home of a Dutch family they met on vacation. When they embark on this journey, their lives are altered in an unexpected and deeply horrifying way. The whole experience turns into a tense and terrifying nightmare. There are certainly some sinister and mysterious things going on.
The film was directed by Christian Tafdrup from a script he wrote with his brother Mads Tafdrup and the synopsis reads:
During a vacation in Tuscany, a Danish family immediately becomes friends with a Dutch family. Months later, the Danish couple receives an unexpected invitation. It doesn’t take long for the joy of the meeting to be replaced by misunderstandings.
“Misunderstandings” may be too light a word to use here. When you watch the trailer, you will better see what is happening.
Don’t say evil stars Fedja van Huêt, Sidsel Siem Koch, Morten Burian, Karina Smulder, Liva ForsbergAnd Mario Damslev. The film hits theaters on September 9 and hits Shudder on September 15.
