Crazy Max director Giorgio Millerthe upcoming film Three thousand years of nostalgia it will be an absolutely insane movie! I enjoyed all the wild movies that have been released and today we have the first clips of the movie that you can watch with a scene Idris ElbaGenius meets with Tilda Swintonis Dr. Alithea Binnie, who is stubborn in expressing her wishes.
The film is based on the short story “The Djinn in the Nightingale’s Eye” by AS Byattand this is the synopsis:
Dr. Alithea Binnie (Tilda Swinton) is an academic, contented with life, and a reasonable creature. While she is in Istanbul to attend a conference, she meets a Djinn (Idris Elba) who offers her three wishes in exchange for her freedom.
This presents two problems. First, she doubts that she is real and second, because she is a student of history and mythology, she knows all the cautionary tales of wishes gone wrong. The Djinn pleads her cause by telling her fantastic stories from her past. She eventually gets seduced and makes a wish that surprises them both.
I love George Miller’s films, and his next one seems to have a Terry Gilliam-type an atmosphere. It seems to have the same energy as movies like Bandits of time And The adventures of Baron Munchausen.
Speaking earlier about the film, Miller called it his anti-Mad Max film, explaining: “One thing I can tell you; it is not [another Fury Road]. It’s a very strongly visual film, but it’s almost the opposite of Fury Road. It is almost all internal and there is a lot of conversation in it. There are action scenes, but they’re close at hand and I guess you can tell it’s the anti-Mad Max. “
Three thousand years of nostalgia will be released in theaters on August 31, 2022.
