It seems that fans of The boys will finally have an answer to one of the show’s longest-running mysteries. Carlo Urbano he recently revealed it The boys Season 5 will delve into the backstory of Billy Butcher’s Scar.
During his appearance at the MCM London Comic Con, Urban confirmed that the upcoming season will explore how Butcher got that distinctive mark on his forehead. The actor shared,
“Personally, I’d really like to keep it a little enigmatic. But in season five, you’re going to find out the origin of Butcher’s scar. That’s a spoiler that I’m going to tell you, so I can’t divulge it in this room, but you’re going to find out.”
While Urban didn’t reveal specific details, his tease is enough to pique interest and get fans talking. The scar has always been part of Butcher’s courageous and battle-tested character, and the story behind it will finally come full circle in the show’s final season.
Active production The boys Season five officially concluded earlier this year, marking the end of an era for one of Prime Video’s biggest hits. Creator and showrunner of the series Eric Kripke reflected on the emotional milestone, posting on X (formerly Twitter),
