The John Wick The action movie franchise is still going strong and fans are extremely excited about the release of John Wick: Chapter 4. I don’t know anyone who wants to see the end of this franchise because it’s so damn fun to watch! So what does the future hold for John Wick?
In a recent interview with Collider, the director Chad Stahelski was asked about the future of the franchise, in particular John Wick: Chapter 5. This was his answer:
“[As of right] now he’s from the studio [full] intention to continue the franchise. And look, I’m not going to see all the directors and producers where they go, ‘Yeah. I do not know. I guess I’ll do five, ‘or it’s like,’ Oh, yeah, yeah. ‘ And I’m just, ‘Look, man. ‘John Wick 1 ‘ it was nonsense. We made it as a fun little action movie that we’d like to see. ‘ And the fact that now, nine years later, it has changed our lives. It changed my life. It changed Keanu’s life. It changed many other people’s lives. And people still want to see more ”.
Stahelski also says how “fucking flattering” it is to see the success of the franchise, but he also loves the way people want to keep seeing more from it. “I’m the luckiest guy out there. The fact that the fans still want to see more, the fact that we still want to do more is a testament.”
When previously there was talk of how much John Wick would still be playing, Keanu Reeves he said: “As far as my legs can carry me. As far as the audience wants to go.” Therefore Ian Mc Shane he said he thinks the franchise could last another ten years.
Stahelski had previously said he could make them John Wick films for the rest of his career and that he and Reeves have a lot of ideas!
“I like making these films because there is no limit. We create our own mythology and have a studio that steers us away and supports us in extravagant decisions. If people go to see the movie, and make money, and come back to us, Keanu and I have ideas for days. I could live here for the rest of my career. If people like it and want to watch more, I could think of worse ways to spend your career. But, you know, we’re in show business. We will let the public understand. “
Hey, as long as they keep making these John Wick movies, I’ll keep showing up to watch them!
