At this point, everyone knows the success that the fourth season premiere of “Stranger Things” has meant for Netflix. Despite ultimately failing to break the record set by “The Squid Game” as Netflix’s most successful series, Hawkins boys amassed about 1.4 billion hours during their first 28 days.

However, the sale of some alleged leaked scripts used for the production of this last fourth season forced the writers of the same to pronounce themselves. Said leak consists of a few pages corresponding to the “Byler script”, which presumably would have been used for the creation of the chapter “Dear Billy”.. In this episode, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) and Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) have a deep conversation in the van.
The script, which went on sale for $ 25, was quickly denied by the series’ writers via their Twitter account.. They categorically denied the veracity of these documents, encouraging fans of the series not to pay anyone for them.
PSA: Any “leaked” script or page of script from season 4 is FALSE. Don’t pay anyone for the scripts as this is a scam.

Why so much fuss?
It turns out that exactly the “Byler script”, if true, would have confirmed Will and Mike’s love affair, a theory that some fans have been dreaming of for a few years. During the fourth season, Will appears on the verge of making public his love for Mike, both in the conversation in the van and in another chat with his brother Jonathan (Charlie Heaton).
Also, by adding fuel to the fire, Schnapp himself recently confirmed Will’s sexuality. Therefore, it is understandable that a script that continued this popular theory sparked so much interest among the followers of the series. Likewise, the authors of “Stranger Things” have promised to publish those scripts chosen by their followers, might take the opportunity to find out a little more by asking the writers for the pages used to produce Will’s most sentimental moments.
